If you can't get your headphones working, then double check you have this selected. Because I'm completely stupid, I had to figure this part out myself. The card doesn't auto-detect when headphones are plugged in sadly, but it's not hard to get used to. TO GET FRONT PANEL AUDIO WORKING, YOU HAVE TO SELECT "FP Headphones" IN THE ANALOG OUT FIELD.

For the installation that DID work, I used the CD that came with the card to install the older drivers, then updated from the ASUS website.

Most people wont notice this, but I was really surprised at how crystal clear the audio is coming from this card rather than the motherboard audio.Ĭons: -The driver software had problems the first two installations that I tried.
